I bought the single in the early eighties…that is what I was doing…buying singles and albums from the 60sThe music licensing company BMI named this as the sixth-most performed song of the 20th century, with around 6 million performances.Thanks…I know it really is sad and he just broke through before this…he would have been headed for big things.One of my all time favourites – of any genre!Damn!
