Like Dunemi my sister mentioned that when you flex your muscles as if youre going per it empties itself out and guess what, it does!
I’ve tried menstrual cups for 20 years, but the Soft Cup works better for me because I have a heavy flow. If it weren’t for menstrual disks I would have had to use only expensive and leaky sea sponges, drying tampons, or smelly stinky pads that cause chafing before I delivered a child. I’m only on leaving my review because I was trying to find people’s tips to get it out… trying again maybe it’ll get easier? There was definitely a learning curve and I went through half a pack before I finally became comfortable with it, but I LOVE them.
Not sure if it was flow volume, anatomy, or me not perfecting the positioning yet, but I can’t imagine 12 hours with one disc.
Keeps you safe from leaks and mishaps for up to 12 hours. I still wanted to give em a shot!
And they kind of scared me. Anyway…ideally I’d like to use both a cup and a disc to completely replace pads and tampons. Shame to be so dismissive ladies. We would love to hear about your experience with discs and why you feel that they are the best option — especially if you’ve also used a cup.I had the same issue with removal but I only had one disk (which I signed up for before Flex launch) but thought it was me causing the issue!economically, the cups I use are Luna, It is a learning curve to remove but it is learn-able. I’m on my first full cycle using them and I could actually leave my house without fear of being away from the bathroom. It’s no different than washing out a cup. What would the difference be between washing the disposable one and washing the reusable cups?I actually got started on disks. I am relatively new at both – I’ve done one full cycle with the cup and like it.
The smaller size is generally recommended for those under 30 who haven’t given birth vaginally. I used Instead Softcup (before they went bankrupt) (also in Canada- which means we get Diva Cup and that is it!!!!!) Now I can’t feel them. I never have to worry about being caught short, it’s one small thing and it’s either in body or in my handbag. Now they’re back and I couldn’t be happier. Free shipping at $35. The majority of our customers have heavy flows - including those with endometriosis and PCOS who swear by FLEX disc. What we put in our bodies is important.
FLEX Disc can take a little bit more practice and for some people it can get a little messy. It’s messy, so a toilet with a sink right next to it is best.
So easy, you already know how to use it. Disc catches fluid at the base of the cervix preventing leaks during exercise, swimming and even sex. We will automatically ship Try FLEX with some liners at first.Sometimes you just feel better with a little backup. They need to be under review.
Flex disc is the best menstrual product I have ever tried!
Mess free sex? I have pretty light flow, but very irregular periods due to an IUD. Ingredients Made of 100% medical-grade polymers that won't disrupt the vagina's natural pH balance, flora, or host toxic bacteria. The larger size is generally recommended for those over 30 or anyone who has given birth No Diva cup would work because it was way too large and the stems stuck out. Might be worth a try. I’m free!!! With the disc I had zero leakage, zero issues at all. !I also wash and re-use 1 flex throughout my period.
All the other disc manufacturers claim that one standard size (adopted by Flex, Nixit, Ziggy – yes, I tried them all) will work for most women. The cost ... screw my partner, I WANT mess free sex.
I dispose at end of cycle. Check out our video review for all of the details. In addition to our removal discomforts, we aren’t all that impresses with the cost of using a disc. Easy to insert? I couldn’t hook my finger and pull it’s hard and felt stuck when pulling, used lube to help but it was horrible feeling and felt like it was pulling my insides or getting stuck on them! yay! That’s what makes it a partnership. It’s been wonderful and because I was used to taking it in and out I didn’t have the same learning curve. Absolutely. I hated the disc. You are definitely biased against the disc, it’s obvious.
Endometriosis is so difficult to live with but having a product that actually helps instead of making things worse has been such a relief. The disc is fantastic and I’m delighted that I didn’t feel a thing!
