In our opinion, LifeLock does pretty darn well in all three of these categories. We do think it’s a nice feature, and it’s not something we’ve seen from many services we’ve tried.During our hands-on experience with LifeLock, we received all the instant alerts we could ever want (plus some, but we’ll get to that).

Had I experienced identity theft, I would have used this tab to stay in touch with the dedicated LifeLock agent working to resolve that incident. The most well-known brand is Intuit with the identity theft protection offered through TurboTax. We won’t get too much into the weeds here, but we do think you’ll be more secure with Norton 360 covering your devices and web browsing.
And it's expensive, especially at the higher tiers. We were able to choose between text alerts, automated phone calls, emails, or a combination of the three. For this review I looked at Norton 360 with LifeLock Select, the lowest tier.
But it’s not the cheapest option out there.
The paid plans can be confusing - you are forced to pick the one you want at the price you can afford, even though you might not even know which plan meets your needs for personal security.
